March 2026 Car Launches: All the Upcoming Cars and Big Reveals

The month of March 2026 is shaping up to be an exciting one for the Indian automobile market. From mass-market SUVs to premium performance machines and new-age electric vehicles, several automakers are preparing either to announce prices or officially launch their latest offerings. Here’s a detailed look at all the key cars scheduled for launch or price reveal next month.

1. Renault Duster

The biggest and most anticipated launch of March 2026 is undoubtedly the new-generation Renault Duster. After a grand unveil earlier this year, Renault is all set to announce the official prices on 17 March 2026.

Positioned as a direct rival to the Hyundai Creta, the new Duster has already started arriving at dealerships across India ahead of its price announcement.

Expected Price: ₹9.50 lakh - ₹10 lakh (ex-showroom, starting range)

  • Completely redesigned exterior styling
  • Modernised cabin with updated technology
  • Improved platform and safety upgrades
  • Likely petrol and turbo-petrol engine options

Renault is banking heavily on the Duster nameplate to regain lost ground in the competitive mid-size SUV segment.

2. Skoda Kushaq (Facelift)

Skoda Auto India has already commenced production of the updated Kushaq facelift. The refreshed SUV is expected to arrive in showrooms in March 2026 with noticeable design and feature upgrades.

Expected Price Range: ₹11 lakh - ₹19 lakh (ex-showroom)

  • Revised front fascia with illuminated grille
  • New exterior colour options
  • Updated upholstery
  • Rear-seat massage function
  • Larger panoramic sunroof
  • Expanded feature list

The facelift aims to strengthen Kushaq’s position in the competitive mid-size SUV segment while offering more premium features than before.

3. Toyota Ebella

Toyota is preparing to announce prices for its first all-electric SUV for India, the Ebella. While the exact launch date is yet to be confirmed, pricing is expected to be revealed in March 2026.

The announcement comes shortly after the launch of the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, intensifying competition in the mass-market EV space.

Battery Options:

  • 49kWh battery pack
  • 61kWh battery pack

Both versions will feature a single electric motor setup with a claimed range of up to 543 km on a single charge.

The Ebella is expected to play a key role in Toyota’s EV strategy in India.

4. Nissan Tekton

Nissan is also entering the spotlight with its upcoming mid-size SUV, the Tekton. Based on the new-generation Duster platform, the Tekton will rival established Korean competitors in the segment.

It will be Nissan’s second launch of 2026, following the introduction of the Nissan Gravite MPV earlier this year.

Expected Pricing: Likely to be positioned close to the new Renault Duster.

  • Shared platform with Renault Duster
  • Competitive pricing strategy
  • Focus on practicality and strong value proposition

The Tekton is a crucial product for Nissan’s revival strategy in India, and a three-row derivative is expected to follow in 2027.

5. Audi SQ8

At the premium end of the spectrum, Audi India will launch the Audi SQ8 on 17 March 2026, coinciding with the Renault Duster’s price announcement.

Expected Price: Around ₹1.5 crore (ex-showroom)

  • 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine
  • Quattro all-wheel-drive system

The SQ8 will mark Audi’s first launch of 2026 and is expected to cater to buyers looking for a high-performance luxury SUV with aggressive styling and strong road presence.

Final Thoughts

March 2026 promises to be a dynamic month for the Indian auto industry. From affordable SUVs and EVs to high-performance luxury models, the upcoming launches cater to a wide range of buyers.

The spotlight will undoubtedly remain on the new Renault Duster, but strong competition from Skoda, Toyota, Nissan, and Audi ensures that March will be packed with action across segments.
