Renault India has made a strong comeback in the Indian automobile market, reporting a remarkable 21% year-on-year (YoY) growth in October 2025. The automaker achieved wholesale figures of 4,672 units for the month, compared to 3,861 units in October 2024. This performance not only outpaced the industry’s average growth rate of 17.3% but also showcased Renault’s renewed focus on product innovation and customer engagement.

On a month-over-month basis, Renault’s October performance marked a 9.54% increase over September 2025, when the company sold 4,265 units. The rise highlights the impact of its refreshed portfolio, particularly the new Triber and Kiger models, which have gained strong traction in both urban and semi-urban regions.
October 2025 saw robust festive buying activity, and Renault successfully capitalized on it. Two key drivers fueled this growth the launch of upgraded Triber and Kiger models and the positive impact of GST 2.0 reforms, which made car ownership more accessible. With festive discounts, special financing schemes, and improved customer service experiences, Renault dealerships across India reported higher footfall and conversions.
According to VAHAN data, Renault India recorded retail registrations of 5,041 units in October 2025, marking a 12.7% increase compared to the same month last year. The company’s ability to sustain consistent retail growth alongside wholesale success indicates a balanced and healthy sales pipeline.

Mr. Francisco Hidalgo, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Renault India, expressed optimism about the brand’s momentum. He stated, “October recorded a notable upswing in sales, driven by overwhelming customer response to the newly launched Triber and Kiger. The models have captured strong interest across urban and rural markets alike, reflecting renewed consumer confidence and vibrant demand during the festive season. We are confident this encouraging momentum will continue in the months ahead.”
