The 2025 Renault Kiger facelift has officially arrived in India with a starting price of ₹6.29 lakh, going up to ₹11.29 lakh (ex-showroom). This marks the compact SUV’s first major update since its 2021 debut and is Renault’s second product under its bold “Rethink” transformation strategy after the Triber facelift. With fresh styling, upgraded interiors, improved safety, and powerful engine options, the new Kiger is set to raise the bar in the competitive sub-4m SUV segment.

The facelifted Kiger brings a stronger road presence with its updated styling. A sleek reflective black grille now sports Renault’s modern diamond logo, while the reshaped bumper gets a wider intake and a striking silver skid plate. Full-LED fog lamps are added to higher trims, complementing the signature trip-pod LED headlamps and LED DRLs.
At the rear, a reprofiled bumper and smoked taillamps freshen up the look. Renault has also introduced a vibrant new Oasis Yellow dual-tone paint option, alongside nine existing shades. Completing the makeover are newly designed 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, giving the SUV a sportier and premium vibe.
Inside, Renault has gone for a Noir and Cool Grey theme, with improved materials and ventilated leatherette seats for added comfort. The 8-inch touchscreen infotainment now supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, paired with a 360-degree multi-view camera for better visibility.

Additional features include a wireless phone charger, rain-sensing wipers, and automatic headlamps. Renault also claims class-leading space with a 405-litre boot, 222mm rear knee room, and 710mm seat spacing. NVH levels have been refined through better insulation in the dash, cowl, carpets, and A-pillars, ensuring a quieter and smoother drive.
The Kiger facelift retains its trusted engines:
Renault also offers a dealer-fitted CNG kit for eco-conscious buyers. Notably, the turbo-petrol variant boasts the best-in-segment torque-to-weight ratio and top-class 0 - 100 km/h acceleration. Fuel efficiency ranks second-best in the manual turbo segment, balancing performance with economy.
Safety has taken a significant leap forward in the facelifted Kiger. Six airbags now come standard across all trims (up from just two previously). The SUV also packs 21 safety features including ESP, hill start assist, TPMS, and rear parking sensors.

It continues to offer 205mm of ground clearance, while functional roof rails with a load-bearing capacity of 50kg enhance practicality.
Adding excitement to the launch, Alpine F2 driver and Monaco GP winner Kush Maini tested the Kiger facelift and praised its dynamics. According to him, the SUV is fun to drive, quick to respond, and stable in corners making it a driver’s delight in the compact SUV space.
The facelifted Kiger starts at ₹6.29 lakh (Authentic trim) and goes up to ₹11.29 lakh for the top-end Emotion CVT turbo variant. With its upgrades, it continues to battle strong players like the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Toyota Taisor, Maruti Fronx, and Skoda Kushaq.
The updated Kiger is priced between ₹6.29 lakh and ₹11.29 lakh (ex-showroom India).
It gets a black reflective grille with the new Renault diamond logo, reshaped bumper, silver skid plate, full-LED fog lamps (higher trims), smoked taillamps, and new 16-inch alloy wheels. A new Oasis Yellow dual-tone shade is also introduced.
The cabin now features ventilated leatherette seats, a Noir and Cool Grey theme, an 8-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, 360-degree camera, wireless charging, rain-sensing wipers, and improved insulation for reduced cabin noise.
The SUV offers a 1.0L NA petrol (72 bhp/96 Nm) and a 1.0L turbo-petrol (100 bhp/160 Nm). Transmission choices include 5-speed MT, AMT, and CVT. A dealer-fitted CNG kit is also available.
Six airbags are now standard across all trims. The SUV also comes with 21 active and passive safety features including ESP, hill start assist, TPMS, and rear sensors.
F2 driver and Monaco GP winner Kush Maini tested the SUV and endorsed its fun-to-drive nature, stability, and handling.
The facelifted Kiger competes with Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Toyota Taisor, Maruti Fronx, and Skoda Kushaq.
