Brand Performance Highlights
Toyota clinched the 5th spot in the monthly sales data with a total unit sales of over 26,000 units. The carmaker registered a 9.7 percent decline in monthly sales, but managed to post a modest 2.7 percent year-on-year growth.
Kia sold over 20,600 units in June 2025, down by 7.6 percent month-on-month and 3.2 percent year-on-year. Despite the dip, it held on to a stable market share of 6.5 percent.
MG Motor showed strong year-on-year growth of 25.5 percent, while it saw a slight dip of 7.5 percent from May 2025.
Skoda was among the biggest gainers, with a yearly growth in sales of 95.4 percent compared to June 2024. However, the Czech carmaker saw a steep 25.6 percent drop in MoM sales.
Honda showed signs of recovery with a 16.9 percent monthly gain with a total unit sales and dispatches of over 4,500 units. However, it still fell short of its performance in June 2024, ending with a 3.9 percent YoY decline.
Volkswagen, Renault, and Nissan struggled to gain ground, with Renault and VW posting an 8.5 percent and 4.9 percent MoM gain, respectively. Meanwhile, Nissan’s YoY sales dropped by nearly 38 percent.
Citroen managed to sell 610 units in June 2025, which was almost double its sales figures for May 2025. On the other hand, Jeep could sell 262 units in June 2025.
