Hyundai Stargazer Facelift Debuts with SUV-Inspired Design, Launch Expected on July 24

Originally launched in Indonesia in 2022, the Hyundai Stargazer is now available in multiple large markets such as Brunei, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and the Middle East countries and has helped the company strengthen its giant foothold in the global consumer scene. Hyundai refuses to rest on its laurels and is planning a facelifted version of the same, offering major styling updates and advanced features.

The Hyundai Stargazer facelift has adopted an SUV-like stance with its upright front end and flat bonnet. The design will give Hyundai Stargazer a stronger presence on the road. Buyers will also get a new front fascia. Apart from that, some of the key upgrades involve rectangular LED headlamps and H-shaped LED DRLs. Capable of integrating the turn signals, the DRLs have a full-width LED bar.

The Stargazer comes with a wider Front grille, featuring studded elements that embolden the car’s outlook. The bumper has also been transformed to adorn a more prominent and distinctive ‘H’ format design. While the side profile hasn’t changed much, the Stargazer now has a set of alloy wheels as part of the add-ons.

Traditional door handles, squared wheel arches and a tapering roofline also feature in the facelifted version. The facelifted model has H-shaped lighting elements at the rear, similar to the treatment at the front. The rear has a visually appealing tailgate design and a rugged-style faux metallic bumper.

The SUV-like stance is likely to result in an upgrade in the length of the Hyundai Stargazer as well. The current model has a length of 4,460 mm, a width of 1,780 mm and is 1,695 mm tall, apart from holding a 2,780 mm wheelbase. Notably, all the upgrades available with the Hyundai Stargazer facelift will also come with the Stargazer X, a premium version which offers additional equipment and larger wheels.

The interiors of the luxury car are also set for a facelift, offering a premium digital cockpit experience. As seen with other Hyundai models launched recently, the updated minivan could get larger screens. The existing model’s interior possesses ambient mood lighting, 8-inch display audio with smartphone connectivity, a full digital cluster with 4.2-inch TFT LCD, an electric parking brake, leatherette seats and a wireless smartphone charger.

The Hyundai Stargazer is likely to retain its powertrain, continuing with the 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 115 PS and is paired with either a 6-speed manual or CVT transmission. The Hyundai Stargazer facelift could be introduced on July 24 at the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show. When the vehicle sees its Indian launch, however, remains uncertain.
