2025 Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition Launched: All-Black, All-Attitude

Nissan Launches 2025 Magnite Kuro Edition with All-Black Vibes

The blacked-out trend is still going strong, and Nissan is not missing out. The 2025 Magnite Kuro Special Edition has just been launched in India, and it’s all about the dark side. Priced at ₹8.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), this variant is now available for booking across dealerships for just ₹11,000. If you’ve been waiting for a bold-looking subcompact SUV, this might be it.

Design: No Chrome, No Nonsense

This isn’t your regular Magnite. The Kuro Edition gets a full-on Onyx Black paint job that makes it look more aggressive and premium. The front grille is piano black, skid plates are done in resin black, and even the roof rails, door handles, and 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels get the dark treatment. A tiny 'Kuro' badge on the fender adds some exclusivity. Oh, and those LED Bulbs? Completely blacked out too.

All-Black Cabin to Match

The all-black theme continues inside. The dashboard, steering insert, sun visors, gear shift surround, and door trims are all covered in dark tones, with piano black accents giving it a sleek but subtle flair. There’s a Sable Black wireless charger as standard and a stealthy-looking dashboard camera available as an optional extra. It’s dark, it’s moody, and it definitely stands out from the crowd.

Feature-Packed Like It Should Be

The Kuro Edition is based on the N-Connect variant, so it doesn’t skimp on features. You get a touchscreen infotainment system, Arkamys-tuned speakers, auto-dimming IRVM, automatic climate control, and rear AC vents. Basically, it’s got all the essentials for city driving and daily comfort with a touch of style.

Same Engine Options, No Surprises

Under the hood, nothing’s changed. You still get the choice of two 1.0-litre petrol engines. There’s a naturally aspirated one with 71 bhp and 96 Nm, and a turbocharged version that puts out 98 bhp and 160 Nm. The NA motor comes with either a 5-speed manual or an AMT, while the turbo offers a 5-speed manual or a CVT. If you’re into saving fuel, there’s also a dealer-fitted CNG kit option available.

Safety Is Not an Afterthought

Nissan has kept the safety kit intact. You get six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, traction control, brake assist, and TPMS—all standard. It’s good to see that style didn’t come at the cost of safety.

Bonus: New Colour Option Too

Alongside the Kuro Edition, Nissan has also introduced a new Metallic Grey paint option. This will be available on the Tekna, Tekna Plus, and N-Connecta variants. It’s not as dramatic as the Kuro, but still a fresh choice for those not into the all-black vibe.

Final Thoughts

The Magnite Kuro Edition is for people who want a little more drama without breaking the bank. It doesn’t bring anything new to the table mechanically, but visually, it’s a whole different beast. If you’re bored of chrome and want a mean-looking city SUV, the Kuro Edition is worth checking out.
